This kit detects IgG-class antibodies to the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the S (spike) protein of SARS-CoV-2 in samples of whole venous blood (with the addition of sodium citrate, ethylene diamine tetraacetate, heparin sodium or heparin lithium), serum or plasma (with the addition of sodium citrate, ethylene diamine tetraacetate, heparin sodium or heparin lithium), including when testing for antiviral activity in human blood serum or plasma.
